Genale handwoven cotton Ethiopian Bath towel

These Fair Trade, eco friendly, handmade towels are adorned with Ethiopian traditional patterns. These beautifully intricate towels are very versatile and can easily be used as throws, picnic blankets, bath towels, sauna towels and even shawls. They are perfect to take on the airplane and wrap up in when wanting a bit of shut eye. This collection is made of hand spun cotton and woven on a traditional hand loom. These bath towels go together with the Genale hand towel and bath mat. They are finished with hand twisted fringes. They are machine washable, durable, absorbent and quick to dry. The collection is named after a river that runs through southeast Ethiopia.
